The tail is too short so it wont track as well as the gliders and the wings look narrow compared to the fat fuse. Its meant for water (which would be completely sweet to do FPV) but I am concerned with wing loading.

I wonder how the flight change if no lateral fuselage and wing floaters

I was really interested as well until I saw the flight in the video. The first flight was cr*p , judging by the encouragement from his colleague i deduced the pilot was not too good.

the second flight looked better but still shaky and unstable.
then the guy ends up putting weight in the nose and it seems better but what about the landing ?

I don't feel the love no more

the 2nd guy is actually not a bad pilot. hes getting the nitro gear for testing also.
the 1st one is your average pilot (so just as good as me i suppose lol)

Ok who's going to be a pioneer and start flying an FPV seaplane?
It's a wonderful new world to explore.

Hello VRflyer....

Ok not pioneer, but some people have already done it.

I am keen to get one for FPV, but not off the water yet. We do have place by the lake that would suit it nicely and I might give it a try!!

I have a Catalina that would do well too but water and electricity don't mix!

So, If it's not for landing in the water, it's a good plane or not.

I'm between this plane and the twinstar 2 !!!!

That is a SWEET looking plane. hopefully some mods can improvise on it a little better.

it DID take a decent hit on the ice...so that has something going for it. by chance anyone notice how the decals give it a very "MACROSS" VALKYRIE look! not too shabby
