Hi guys,
I will present you the 2. proto of the new Peter Lubach F16 for 90mm fans.
Specs 122cm x 79,5cm
All moulded, more scale in shape than others and allmost the same construction like the smaler Lubach F16 for 69mm fans.
This is not a cheap massproduction plane but a fine well planed plane for guys who whant a special one
Donīt know if itīs possible to ship in in the USA (costs) but for all guys in Europe who donīt whant a F16 with to big wings.

First vids of the 1. Proto from P. Lubach and the 2. proto of me.
Peter Lubachīs one has an Mega 6s setup and
I use a 8s 320035C cells with the Mega AC 22/45/1,5ER (1450 KV) and a CC 100ICE.
This gives about 3,3 kg thrust on the testbench
But now have a look (a better video resolution will follow)

P. Lubach is working for Wemotec.com and Iīm "working" for P.Lubach (I made the manual) but the F16 is not availeable at Wemotec but shipped from him
This is a bird from a modeler to other modelers (only 1 plug/2 weeks)

Hi,
after I crashed my F16 after a voltage failure I rebuilt it with many replacement parts from Peter.

Stormy conditions donīt stop me for the maiden,
filmed with my new 11,75€ camglases (but I have to practice to center the bird)

To translate my commentars:
"Hu, what happens, she was shaking....perhaps the wind?"
and
"Damned stormy conditions today..."
Was no fun but the bird flies very well and fast

After all this time we can't get a scale F-16 90mm with retractable
landing gear. Ted Goodwin proved that it could be done.
The only problem is that Ted did not have the time to mass produce kits and pay his bills. Tam
made a version of the 90mm F-16 and his had gear.
let's get with the program and design a scale F-16 around some of those
electric landing gear, that would be the ticket...

The problem is the shipping to the USA.
In Europe she is at 420.-€ + shipping.
Perhaps there is a company in the USA who imports Wemotec fans and a F16 is in the box too
I got no info

At this time my F16 is grounded because the motor lost his kevlar bandage.
I had to wait or to buy another motor like the NM1415-1,5y.
Has anyone a idea how much amps and thrust I can get with this motor in a Midifan and good 8s Lipos?

Oliver I have an entry in my spreadsheet that I used to record data posted here by others that shows for the Neu 1415 1.5Y on 8S 5000s 70 amps and 2100 to 2400 watts in the Midifan. I don't know if that was peak amps or 30 seconds into the run or what.

I use 3200er cells and then the performance of the NM will be10% under the Mega I use

The Mega AC 22/45/1,5ER normaly pulls about 75-79A and delivers 3,3kg thrust with the midi.

In the F16 the CC 100 ICE tells me something about 100A and more
but the Jeti MUI100 says 85-89A.

As he lost his kevlar bandage the MUI100 said 159A
I hope there was an farbrication fault because it was the 1.motor who had this problem.
Itīs also possible that the motor was damaged in the crash I had with the Aggressor
It was the 2. flight after the crash!

Hi,

Today I started to build my Lubach F16 (90mm) also.

My planned setup will be (just ordered) :

JéPé JET 90-8s (approx 1.9 KW)
Castle Creation ICE 100
2x 4s1p 4000 nanotech (25C)
2x DES 587 BB MG mini digital servo's

Keep you posted on my progress.

After some unpainted testflights, it will be painted in the beautifull Dutch demo colours (Orange/Black)!
