Yet another Logo10 Video - 2.5D Practice

Hello guys,

Here's another flight video . I'm practicing my first inverted pirouettes and some other stuff. Pretty exciting for me.

I had to edit lots of stuff out, but there are still good shots.

Here it is:

Enjoy!

Cool flights!

But I had a bad luck today

Was flying my Logo, it was getting dark. I managed somehow loose my orientation. I thought it was inverted so I flipped it and it stared to drop right down to me, yeah now it WAS inverted, hit the full pitch and it stardet to gain altitude and then....I had a tree behind so it hit the damn tree inverted.
Bad thing: why do I fly near the trees in the dark(almost)?
Good thing: the tree is pretty soft

damaged parts: main shaft, blades, one landing.. uuhm thingy and main gear! cost: 90US (yeah GFK blades costs a bit)

Thank you for understanding . Yes the Logos are great flying machines. Although I'd love to try a bigger heli someday... when I have enough $$$ to spare.

Sorry to hear about the accident Allex, doesn't look that bad. The blades are the parts that always make things expensive .

I can't forget the day I crashed my Eco8.... (sigh).. Lost orientation for a split second and that's all it took for that bird to come down at supersonic speeds!! That's when I almost got "killed." Bad memories.

I hope you get flying soon.. good luck!

Logo 10 Video

Hello everyone,

Nice video Chachin. I really enjoy watching them.

We recently got a new video camera and I been playing around with a video of my Logo 10. I was wondering if someone could try it out to see if it will work. I am pretty new to making videos on the computer and I am not sure if it can be seen by others. It was originally recorded on a memory stick in mpeg format and was over 90mb. I downloaded Dr. Divx from divx.com to try and shrink it some. It is now down to 14.5mb in .avi format. I am not sure what .avi format is but I can play it on Windows Media Player and Divx player. So can one of you try and download it. Thanks.

It is at http://briefcase.yahoo.com/visdavis@pacbell.net under RC Airplanes. It is the file named Logo 10. I think you can right-click it to save it to your computer.

Derryk

P.S. It was my first flight after I took it apart to clean and check everything and was a little out of trim.

its working fine, just need the DivX codec.
One thing I dont like is the low frame rate in the video...Just like it smoother.

Great! I'm glad that it works.

Yeah I noticed the low frame rate too. It is kinda cool though because the blades appear to stop and then go in the other direction. Is there anything I can do about the low frame rate or is that just how the camcorder will record?

Thanks

It could be your camcorder or the program wich makes it to 15fps or something

Does it look this choppy when you playback it from Camcorder?

I checked my camcorder and it doesn't apear to be choppy. So it is probably the program.

Thanks

Download 'Windows Media Encoder', it can do any frame rate, any size, any data rate...its my job....
