Boeing F-32 S.T.O.V.L. fighter

Hello everyone;

I have been looking for scale documentation or even downloadable video of the F-32. Even though at this time I would not consider building a true electric STOVL version, it would be a fantastic research project. I beleive that with electric R/C anything is possible, but finding the information has been a priority now for a few weeks...

can anyone help..??

do a search on the F-32 here and you will find loads of info on it. And there is someone working on a true vertical version of it in England.

Email me Sportplane. kevcox@earthlink.net

That makes 4 of us that like the PWSC version of the F-32

I have thoughts for a STOL...not STOVL. Would make an excellent grass field or short strip model. Ahhh but too many other projects ahead of this

If you can't find proper 3-views or fuselage cross-sections, get a plastic kit, build the essentials and then use a hobbysaw to cut through where you think is nessecary. Oh yeah... I thought it was the X-32 , not the F-32. Did I miss anything?

Do you have a cad package which will accept dxf drawings, I've got most of the X-32 drawn out in corel draw including sections.

I could send it as a bitmap if required. I also have loads of photos of the x-32. I even got 1/2 way through building a 1/10 scale version before I heard that Lockheed had won the contest for the JSF the rest will probably be history

The F-32 is what Boeing didn't build. It is an improved design based on the updated requirement of the JSF program. So the only video of it is the excellent computer generated versions of the 3 variants flying. I just watched them again and I want one NOW . That planform (top-view) looks great in the air!

Here is a link, it is in the Real Player format so you can't copy it .

Check it out guys, I think it looks cool. And would make a great EDF, has the efficiency of a "tube jet"....and great length to width dimensions.

Thats it....I gotta build one after my current project

Boeing X-32 / F-32 informative success...

A MILLION THANKS TO ALL OF MY NEWLY ACQUIRED R/C BUDDIES...!!

I am definitely one happy guy, the video of the X-32 was found, along with more information that I even imagined finding..

thanks a lot guys...!!

VTOL flight has been a passionate thing for a long time, but the technical challenges still have to be overcomed. I started a design study for an electric powered VTOL...but I have only just begun.

see you all at the newsgroup...
