spitfire Doug,
AP gains are not assignable to channels unfortunately, but there is less need for that. Daniel |

sim io,
The OSD requires the camera signal to sync. So if the camera is gone (say dropped off or cable came loose) you'd lose OSD picture as well. However, if the camera failed in such a way that it still puts out a signal (for example if a piece of dirt is obscuring the view) then you will have all instrumentation. In the event of a camera failure, I think the best course of action would be to let the autopilot fly the plane back to you, and once that happens you can visually commandeer the plane down. In the event of night flying, I think the OSD would allow you to navigate yes. Landing would probably require a barometric altitude sensor since GPS altitude fluctuates quite a bit. Daniel |

GoldCraft,
Yes, of course. Lots of people use it without the DragonLink. Depending on the feature set of the DOSD+ that you want to use, you may or may not need a receiver that's capable of putting out PPM. If you want to use the advanced features, then you will need such a receiver and some receivers need a simple wire to bring this out from the inside, others need a multiplexer. A few receivers, such as the DragonLink, TLRS, and a few others have PPM ready so those are even easier. But back to your original question, yes - lots of people use it without the DragonLink. GoldCraft,
I'm not real sure how the AR7000 handles RSSI but from what I've read, it doesn't really output analog RSSI levels. You may need a different approach. Again, I've no experience with the AR7000 but I have seen some devices made for Spektrum receivers to produce RSSI compatible outputs. Daniel |

Yes, mostly except for the additional GPIO header and the PWM4 header. Daniel |

I must update ArduImu , connect it to DOSD and after that mount all the things in the plane. Speachless..... maybe a printscreen to heal my wounds ? |

Wadsworth,
The V2 middle pin of the RSSI port carries 3.3V for other purposes, same as in V1. Daniel |
