I can't connect to Dragon osd commander to update fw.
Any ideas??
i choose the correct COM port and hit connect but it comes back as Failed to connect
I tried with TLL only and with TLL + power to the board

you will need power to the DOSD
did you try swapping tx/rx?

Nope, that did not suffice for a successful connection...

if you unplug the programmer, does the com port you are using come off the list?

Is there another program that might be using the com port or adaptor?

Yes, COM port comes and goes as i plug unplug the TLL programmer

Latest drivers are installed for the TLL aswell

I uninstalled and reinstalled Commander and connected.
As of now i am running 17.8

There hasn't been new FW for a very long time - are you sure you need to go through this?

It had served me well in the past.
