Yea, thats pretty cool--less mass is good.

I just got a pay increase a couple of weeks ago. It did not last long. After 9-11, I was back to my old pay scale.

BTW- we meet at MidAmerica a few years back when I was just a goofy SF340 driver.

Hi!

I have already seen the 5 lb turbine at a jet meet in Gradisca/Italy. It should easily fit in a MidiFan airframe if it could stand the heat!
Schreiner is also offering a turbine for their superb EDF models. It can be purchased in a kit or already assembled.

Cheers!

Bostjan,

Wow, I thought they were only in development. This hobby keeps getting better and better !

Scott,
So are now a goofy 37 pilot ! Delta ? Just got news that AC is laying off another 5000 and parking 84 airplanes ! It looks like the 747-400 is safe for now but I am already planned to be reduced off it to the A340 sometime in the near future. Actually looking forward to a little senoirity again. I'm on reserve and haven't flown in a month

Yea, I hear you. I like reserve if I have a model project. However, I am in school for the B717, so I do not have time for much now. These B717 acronyms are slowly killing me. Lets see, FADEC, FCP, ECP, SISP, ISIS, ACP, ECC, IDG, PRSOV, FCV, FMU, FRRT, etc. Back to the books are it is SOL for me.

Too cool Greg. What's the chance of a micro price to go along with the micro turbine.

Non-excistant. Micro price and micro size are muturally exlusive..
Would be fun though

These mini's are too cool. I need a pair of them for my F-4. 7 lbs. with 8 lbs. of thrust, I can see it now. It would probably beat the heck out of the reliability factor on it's current ICDF.
