I'm a big fan of the amphibious airplanes , I feel fantastic when she take off and landing from water. I catch the clip of Icon A5 when I roam in you tube, like it at the first time. It can swept wing when transport by truck, so lovely . I try to make by foam with the plan of myself.

here's my first design to share with forum.

The technical specs:
- Wing span: 1200mm
- Length : 772mm
- Wing area : 16,1 sq dm
- Weight RTF( proposed ) : 670 - 720 gram
- Wing loading : 34,1 - 37,3 gram/sq.dm

Equipments:
-motor 2212/06 2200kv + prop 5,3 X 3
-ESC 30-35A
-Battery : 1800 -2200 mah 25-30C

Flight control:
-Aileron
-Flap
-Rudder
-Elevator

I begin with the main fuselage, spare part become with the dap, so hard when I cut 5mm foam but very comfortable and exact when fit them.

Nice and clean and possible to be built in depron

This sis a cool looking plane, much better then the Sea Bee.

Very cool! And it could be good for video as well, it kind of reminds me of the blubaby pusher I've been working on for aerial video. I was thinking it could be modified for water flight as well...will there be plans?

Thanks, I have this shot too. If you want another angle I can do that tonight when I get home. I've flown her twice now and getting things dialed in, but she flies pretty well.

I saw the Icon at EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It is a very cool concept for an aircraft. The real thing has some amazing engineering in it, just like your amazing fuselage does Kylevn. I can never get that precision with my "interlocking" parts

Sure, no problem, I'll get some more tonight. Here is one of the first aerial videos from it, it's a little rough going up but then things smooth out.

I have to say your build is looking pretty sweet. Do you think you'll post the plans? Those are some pretty intricate locking pieces, I'm very interested in how it will all come together.
