Time for a Bigger Plane... help?
Okay - I'm looking to upgrade my hangar to a bigger plane. Currently I have:
- E-Flite T-34 Mentor (55") - Green Model Tiger Moth (50") - E-Flite Taylorcraft (hacked & clipped to 40") - E-Flite RV-9 (50") - Kyosho Spitfire 50 (56" waiting on batteries & parts) I'm wanting something new for the spring season - an ARF that I can mess with a bit (will likely strip and re-cover in the colors of my choice, with full light mods too). Other problem, is that it has to disassemble to be in the trunk of my 95' Jetta, so likely removable wings are critical. Other requirements - available in Canada eh, electric power, ARF, not foam, ideally $200-270 price range, classic 40's or 50's styling, something different, not 3D but sport/scale performance and flying. Currently under consideration (thanks to great threads and bashes already bragged about on these forums)... - Hangar 9 Toledo Special (69") - Hangar 9 Piper Pawnee 40 (80") - Hangar 9 DeNight Special (58") - or??? Thoughts? I'm leaning towards to Toledo right now... but curious what others think. Thanks! |
