Question

TF8000 Bench Test Data?

Hi,

I would like to integrate the TF8000 in my Fan Calculator (http://www.s4a.ch/eflight/fancalc_e.htm). for that I need your help:

Who is currently running a TF8000?

I am interested in your data regarding:

- Setup used (Motor, ESC, Battery)
- Datas evaluated on the bench or in the airplane?
- max. Current
- Voltage
- resulting (static) Thrust
- if available Efflux
- if evaluated in the airplane: Exhaust pipe diameter/area
- approx. elevation above sea level and temperature at evaluation

thanks for your help!

I did this modification. The problem is I never got to fully test it before it was returned to the customer.

It showed great promise.

I'm subscibed and watching with interest. I have one of these fans and am also curious what direction to go with regards to the rest of the power train.

Ejets your fan calculator is a godsend. I use it daily(seriously).

That being said, I've found the ds-30 model to underrate by a few amps and watts when using higher powered setups. In some cases as much as 15amps and 3-400watts. I can provide limited data on running the ds-30 to around 3000-3500 watts if you would like to increase accuracy.
