un balanced prop? do you have a metal motor mount? when you run these high rpm motors, its imperative to have a very balanced prop. could also be bad bearings.

im trying to figure out how to get 6v run to my servos. i have a turnigy bec, and theres a seperate 6v output on the bec, that ive never seen anyone use. ive hooked up bec's in the power lines, and run with a seperate 2cell batt. but theres a seperate 6v output on most bec's, that ive never seen anyone use. maybe instead of using the normal rx hookup, run a male to male servo extension from the 6v output on the bec, to the rx. and just leave the existing bec wire unhooked. any ideas?

HS82's will need you to remove some foam, 65's should go straight in.

Even on my molded slopers I wrap servo's in tape, but then use a epoxy + microballoon mix. Again if you need to remove them, cut the tape.

You can easily make one from a scrap piece of 1/8 plywood.

I had a similar noise with mine which was the plastic motor mount.
I assume you have changed to a metal mount.
I've had the same noise on another fast model which was a not quite tight enough metal motor mount.

Definitely sounds like an out of balance prop. You'll want to resolve that one quickly. If you were to watch the prop when it makes that noise you'd literally see it wobble as the forces of the imbalanced prop make your prop shaft flex. Your shaft could bend or break.

What servos are you using on your Ultras? Will a Hitec 82MG fit into the pre-cut slots without any mods or are 65MGs a better bet?
HS 65MG's here.....on stock powertrain.
