Six Series 2000 KV

Hello,

I have a six series in my stryker with a 60 amp speed control. I am flying with three cells. My prop is 7 x 5. It goes about 90 mph on a good day. Will this setup work with a funjet? I want controllable speed.

thanks

Good starter setup. I would say similar to the original Funjet power pack.

I take it that's the 2200 kv 6 series?

It should work fine on the Funjet. You'll probably get a little more speed out of it - maybe closer to 95-100 mph on the Funjet (since it has less drag).

Ice 100 (Heat sink)

I have one of the newer (enclosed) Ice 100's that I have never used. I took of the tabs to try and fit it in a fuse and that is it.

Just thought I would see if anyone was interested here first.

I would slap on a 6.5x6.5 prop in the FJU and get ready for some additional controllable speed. The FJU has less drag than the Stryker, and you could even run a an additional cell if you really wanna step it up after you get used to a faster setup.

heres some pics jeff. as you can see, as always, ive spent a lot of time to make sure they're done right. the ultra is good for high speeds, ive also run hinge tape along the whole hinges, on both sides. id say its probably ready to do at least 150. theres your old original, got a few more scratches & dings since this picture. might have to glass it soon.

gchrisgo34,

Regarding Gary's mount on your Stryker:

http://www.customrcparts.com/index.p...products_id=58

Mopar helped develop that mount by working closely with Gary....and Mopar did all of the flight testing and gave various feedback to Gary for optimizing of that mount.

It is the VERY best Stryker mount EVER!!!!!!

Many of us have multiple Stryker mounts.
One of mine is bolted to a test stand.

Sometime after initial release Gary was able to drop the price by reducing his CNC machining costs. He then decided to refund that difference in price to every person who had previously bought the mount.
Gary is a standup guy.

They make a 2,000 and 3,000, very good motors. They can take the abuse. I tried the 3,000 but was not very user friendly on a 3 cell 2200 bat. even with a 6 x 5 battery
