If you can't paint, that was certainly a good imitation of a good paint job.

Wonder what you can do with a little practice when you get good!

It depends on the shape of the wing... but its typically about halfway on each wing panel... they are going to be inbetween the ailerons and flaps on mine.

I need to find a replacement for the plastic bracket that holds the landing gear on. I ripped mine in half while landing way too fast on some rough grass (because I lost my mind and landed in the same direction as the wind). I've been searching for months for a retailer to sell me the undercarriage kit, but nobody has one--I hear there was some kind of labor dispute that disrupted the supply globally.

Can anyone offer any help? I'd rather not fabricate my own mount, but I'm considering it. I have no idea how to go about doing that since I've never really had a plane with wheels before.

Do you have pictures of one of the fences?

How do you make them?

Thanks for the tip, but I forgot to mention that I was looking for a USA source. I'm willing to pay the $25 price for the whole kit when all I need is that little bit of plastic, but I'm not really willing to pay that with international shipping as well. If I can't find one in the USA, I'll probably just fabricate something.

If it comes to having to make my own bracket, I was thinking about some thin plywood with blind nuts. I might glue that to some balsa that has a groove carved out for the shape of the wire. Then I would secure the wire with some flat landing gear straps. I also can't seem to find the hooped straps in the right size for this wire, which is why I was considering the grooved balsa with flat straps. Should that be strong enough?

I'm doing a lot of testing now... No final parts yet. And I'm making them out of balsa.

I answer your riddle with a question:

If a man is wrong regardless of location and there's nobody to nag him about it, does he care?
