Just glued in the motor mounts and latch assemblies. Two MG90 metal gear servos get installed in the AM.

I used colored packing tape to color mine up before i painted it. Works great.

I'm going to get another one ASAP because mine has been thru hell already and umm still convinced that it's cursed! It fell off the wall today all by itself and didn't bother either plane below it or next to it.

I'd like to paint a new one before assembly and add cf all thru the fuse as well as a better motor mount to accommodate the big motor and prop. And probably a better LG mount that won't tear out as easly. We defiantly need a FC bible for all the mods, do's and don'ts!!

Thanks for all the replies. I think I'll go with my balsa strips as I hope to do a paint job though I haven't decided on the details yet. More reading needed to decide on the type of paint.

It would be great if you could start one. You obviously know some of the problems/fixes.

I would start one, but I haven't even ordered the plane yet, let alone read too much about it. It seems like a GREAT plane but it would really help me (and everyone else that is thinking about getting one) to know what to do with the plane before they buy it/glue it together. It would suck building it up and find out a week later about a great CF mod that would eliminate vibration on the bigger engines.

If you know the mods/problems with the FunCub you can just search for them and index them, lots of pics/how-tos in this thread alone. Same way as it is done with the 808 camera.
