Hadn't seen that one! Otherwise I might have added the separate flaps. Instead, I just did flapperons. Mine was the first flat wing I saw, and the bush tires were natural

Quality is outstanding. The fit and finish is as good as E-Flite/Parkzone (probably better than Parkzone)...Elapor is excellent...can take a licking so to speak.

Once you have been Multiplexed, you will sucumb. I have a:
Easystar
Merlin
Easy Glider Pro
Minimag

Am interested in the Fun Cub but it seems a bit large and heavy?

I'd say the quality is super. I have bought six Multiplex airplanes and am still flying all but one, which was destroyed getting out of a tree. They fit together well and are well engineered. Above all, they fly very well and are easy to control. The Elapor foam is very tough and easy to repair with Medium CA glue. Just use a good activator (kicker) when assembling and work fast, as the glue sets up very quickly. I learned to fly with the two axis EasyStar and graduated to the three axis MiniMag. The Mentor is the next logical progression, which I also own. It will do just about anything you wish. I'm in my later seventies and find the airplanes suit my needs beyond expectation. I'm a clunker as a flyer, but some guys in our club, who have national recognition, fly them as well, and enjoy them. Don't get me wrong, as the Multiplex airplanes are not the same as DA powered SuKoi's, but will engender the same enjoyment.

Well put on the Multiplex quality.

Although I'm an avid designer/scratch builder, I couldn't help myself when I first saw the EZ-Star, and tried one. We then got 7 or 8 more for trainers... Then came an Acromaster, then a Gemini, then an EasyCub

Last thing I've seen is end of April (USA) from Multiplex. However, their track record isn't the greatest.

IMO, Multiplex makes the best foam planes out there. They seem to restrain themselves and offer only about two or three new models each year and perhaps because of this, they're are almost without exception, incredible flying machines.

I love assembling these kits almost as much as I love flying them. They just fall together and lock in place in the most satisfying way.

The airframes are also famous for being able to accept vastly more power than the stock configurations. Check out the Funjet thread some time!!
