Are the web cams finally working again? Last time I checked (last fall), they had been down for quite a while and still didn't appear to be working.

Good catch on the slope cameras Colby. I forgot to reinstall Java on my machine after rebuilding it last summer. Reinstalled it today, and everything is back to normal. I wonder if I can get this to work through my Iphone. . .

Sunday was fun but North winds all evening. Looks like it turned North West and started to clear up about the time we got off the mountain. Colby, Ted, Bobby, Ethan and I all hiked to the top ridge. Even though the winds were North the lift was awesome. My new 85 oz JW flew spectacularly. It took me for a rodeo ride on the first two flights. Had to add some lead and turn down my rates and that plane came alive!

Can't wait for warm summer night DS'ing the top ridge.

Winds aren't strong but the direction has been Northwest today. When will we get a good weekend of flying?

At least we have an hour more of light after work now.

On the South side we have our own flying area out the West. You can see the flag pole and a frequency board if you zoom in. We always have airspace, landing zones and pit areas on the south side. The North side is a different story. When winds are good for bags we don't fly in the area where the cameras are. We head up to the top ridge above where the camera is. We are working on proper insurance so we have driving access to the top ridge. otherwise it can require some hiking. But it is worth it because the lift up top is inspiring. Plus you often get a layer for some Dyanmic Soaring too.
