Gearmotors for high thrust /1S

Gear brushless micro-motors to achieve maximum thrust with powered only by 1S.

I apologize for my bad English, I use the electronic translator.

This theme is aimed at creating gearbox with brushless motors powered only from 1-Cell (1S).
This theme is for those who are not satisfied with the parametres of motors (even the very best that you can buy today).

[I]I think many people afraid to do their own gearbox.
In my opinion it is much easier that you are able to do.
You only need three main things:
1 - desire to do;
2 - miller Machine;
3 - reamers.

I have the following equipment:
MICRO miller MF 70 - http://www.proxxon.com/en/micromot/27110.php?list
Scroll saw DS 230/E- http://www.proxxon.com/en/micromot/27088.php?list

The quality of my last works after 2019 is determined by the new equipment, which includes an American lathe and milling machine from Sherline.

Extremely powerful motor with gear with 83 grams of thrust for the aircraft Mustang P-51D & Su-26m (ParkZone)!

With this motor - gear plane Mustang P-51D has a fantastic flight dynamics, it just simply astonishing.
Middle position handles "gas" of the transmitter is in the 1/3- 1/2.
And on a complete "gas" the plane can go vertically up 100 meters for 3- 5 seconds!
With such a motor-installing the Mustang P-51D there is a possibility fly in the wind 3 - 5 m/sec.

Parameters gearbox C05M(3:1)A :

Motor - C05M-11000- http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...runner_11000kv
Total weight of the motor with gear - 5,35 grams.
The total weight of the motor with gear with the regulator, wires and connector is - 7,40 grams.

The static thrust with a propeller of the P-51D Mustang (130x70mm)-
- 75 grams (U = 3,5 V; I mot = 3,4 A; T mot = 45 C; Eff= 6,30 g/W);
- 83 grams (U = 3,7 V; I mot = 3,8 A; T mot = 49 C; Eff= 5,90 g/W);
- 100 grams (U = 4,1 V; I mot = 4,5 A, T mot = 55 C; Eff= 5,42 g/W).

The static thrust with a propeller on the Su-26m (160x70mm)-
- 85 grams (U= 3,5 V; I mot = 4,1 A, T mot = 52 C; Eff= 5,92 g/W);
- 115 grams (U= 4,1V; I mot = 5,3 A, T mot = 67 C; Eff= 5,29 g/W).

Tests were conducted with the Spectrum AR6400 receiver and magnificent the Czech regulator "TMM 0703-3 EXPERT"- http://mgm-compro.com/index.php?tid=...-0703-3-expert

The main problem when designing a new gearbox was the fact that at low gear ratio reducer decreases the diameter of large gears and the main axis of the gear because of this unacceptable approaches to the body of the motor. This problem was solved by installing the shaft in bearings with flanges.

To increase the diameter of holes in the gears I used the scan -
http://www.microflight.com/Online-Ca...amers-Set-of-3
or "tapered reamer set/ 6 pieces: 0.3mm to 1.5mm diameter"-
http://www.homefly.com/products.asp?id=11
To fix the gears with increasing diameters use plywood with a hole.

As a large gear, I used G336 36t (36 teeth) -
http://www.bsdmicrorc.com/index.php?productID=832,
but you can use a from the reducer gear Su-26m or the Mustang.

As a small gear, I used G312 097 12t (12 teeth) -
http://www.bsdmicrorc.com/index.php?productID=831
http://www.homefly.com/products.asp?id=37

Rolling bearings "1.5mm bore ball bearing w/flangewith" bought here - http://www.homefly.com/products.asp?id=9

Fee gear cut from carbon sheet thickness of 1,5 mm (actually 1,75 mm).
(Better use of material other-Fiberglass Sheet (Black) 2,3 mm - http://www.espritmodel.com/index.asp...OD&ProdID=2230 ).

As the main shaft gear I used a shortened 1.5-mm shaft gear Su-26m and Mustang- http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=PKZ3528

I also want to add.
Rolling bearings must be pasted in carbon plate on epoxy resin.
In the photo this not.

Hello Vladimir,

That is a great job! Very nice looking gearbox and over 3:1 thrust to weight is awesome.

It must be borne in mind that with such great traction motor and, accordingly, currents through the motor there are increased demands on the output resistance of the regulator.
For example when using the well-known and the cheap ESC XP-7A
(http://www.micronradiocontrol.co.uk/xq_esc.html) maximum thrust falls on 15-20 grams!

The question of selling motor with gear to visitors of this topic

Dear Sirs, perhaps there is a way to sell a set of parts of the gearbox with the motor.
Are you ready to buy it?

.....

It is necessary for a store that could sell you the parts.

RC Design - http://forum.rcdesign.ru/f80/thread1...ml#post1777515
Поэтому пишите ему все по адресу - <[email protected]> и есть очень большая вероятность того, что он откликнется!
Всё зависит от ВАС!

You do not understand.

I have no any financial interest.
For me, these gearboxes - a hobby.
I am not member of any shops.
I suggest that help wishing to repeat ourselves gearbox, bought a ready set of components in shops.
But for the store ( and not me!) need a survey of interest in this.
The most likely option, who could do this - shop BSD MICRO RC, owner - Bob Selman http://www.bsdmicrorc.com/index.php?productID=909
I wrote about it already on the RC Design - http://forum.rcdesign.ru/f80/thread1...ml#post1777515
So write to him at all - <[email protected]sdmicrorc.com> and has a very strong likelihood that he will respond!
It all depends on YOU!

Да нет, собственно уже изначально особенно никто и не появлялся, чтобы затем исчезнуть, кроме моего знакомого Boba.
Я не понимаю, неужели никому не интересен этот мотор- редуктор?

No, actually the outset especially, no one appeared, that would then disappear, except for my friend Boba.
I do not understand, surely no one interested in this motor-reducer?
