My COX Warbirds

I decided to show my COX warbirds here. This way they remain available even if the threads they have been posted in are closed or long forgotten somewhere in the archive.

to begin with some HD video footage

You can find my HD video's on VIMEO here:

The movies of my COX warbirds are the following:

A Cox zero bashed into a Rufe float plane

RUFE video (3 min 2 sec)

Last flight of the Rufe float plane and its crash

Last flight of the Rufe (3 min 5 sec)

A Cox Zero in windy conditions

flight of the Zero (7 min 14 sec)

A Cox Bf-109 made into a G-type in windy conditions

ME-109 v2 (6 min 6 sec)

A Cox P-47 made into a Ki-84 Hayate in slightly windy conditions

flight of the Ki84 Hayate (4 min 10 sec)

Some footage of the FW190 flying low and "slow"

COX-Gravity FW190 (1 min 30 sec)

Repaired my F4U Corsair and she really gets going

Repaired Corsair rocks (3 min 22 sec)

Some older video's of lower quality...

P-40 adjusted to P-40N in Dutch East Indies paintscheme

maiden P 40N bashed from Cox P 40 kit (6 min 16 sec)

Another movie of the zero converted to Rufe

Micro Rufe floatplane filmed with FlyCamOne2 (4 min 38 sec)

My FW190 in action

Cox FW-190 micro warbird (4 min 32 sec)

Pretty OK movie of the Ki84 Hayate made from a P-47 kit

Ki-84 Hayate (bashed Cox P-47 micro warbird) (5 min 14 sec)

All have been fitted a brushless motor and ailerons. They are therefore are no longer stock.

Here is a video showing the working of the aileron conversion

Aileron modification COX model me109 (0 min 46 sec)

This one shows the placement of gears inside the fuse. It could be usefull as well for getting an inside look.

COX P-40 warhawk - placement of gear (3 min 44 sec)

Other video's and projects are underway and will be uploaded when available

Loved the birds flying south in formation, in your first video.
A fast little plane too.
Many thanks

Hi Freddy Bear,

Thanks for your nice words.

The birds are actually not flying south. Winter is ending over here and they are actually getting back home... North that is. The snow can be deceiving.

You should have seen the birds who were in the field with me a hundred or more meters from me, they flew up when I crashed this bird (the float plane) into the ground due to my own stupidity. It happened just after the video was shot. I do have some footage of that. I'll see if I can make something nice to look at from it...

I added the video to the first post - "Last flight of the Rufe"
