I'm considering attending the the MCS Slope Combat event as a spectator. There isn't any fee unless I'm flying, right? And just to make sure, it is at Eagle Butte?

numanair,

I'm sure the club would welcome you checking out the event if you weren't going to fly. You might email Doug Coleman (his email addy is at the MCS site under officers) to double check. Worst case scenerio, the cost to use the site is very reasonable - $20/year.

Have a great time!

The combat bash was officially canceled due to great weather. Friday had winds up to 45mph until about 2 pm when it just turned off. Then it was shear to the west for about 45 minutes and then it was ON 30+ straight in for a great combat session. Saturday was calm with thermals popping everywhere. No combat but DLG's and Electrics were the go to ships for the day. Sunday we went to the sod farm with the other MCSS members and had fun on the winch.

Roll Call

It's less than three weeks until my annual journey to the Tri Cities happens again. I can't wait! Me and the Winch Doc should arrive at Eagle Butte in the late morning, on Thursday, May 17th. I know that Ian Gittens is driving up all the way from L.A., and the usual suspects from Canada will be in attendance. I am really looking forward to this. So let's have a show of hands, who all are planning to be there this year?
