I wouldn't. If it's really floaty already, the flaps will make it un-stallable.

I think I was just messing up my approach. With the larger plane. The largest I've flown. My approach needs to be longer. I'll get it. Had a blast with the plane though.

Pull the droops, and add the flaps. This thing will land itself power off and flaps down.

I planned to remove the droops after the initial few flights. Do you think they are causing it to float? I mean. I was cutting power about 30' off the end of the runway at about 10' high and it would float 5' off the ground the length of the runway complete dead stick. I finally had to force it down.

The E-Flite T-34 is pretty lite for its size. Even with a P-32 and 4s pack it will glide a long way. Low wingloading is why it's such a great warbird trainer.

Yep, the increase wing area just a bit so that will extend the glide some. It's still a very stable bird without them.

That it is. 12x8apc really gets it moving. I crashed mine before I got to try it, but I was thinking a 13x6.5 would let it hang off the prop and be able to hover.

Wasn't able to get out this evening. Too much stuff needed done and the wind never really did die down. That 4:30am alarm clock is not too far away, atleast I get off at 3pm for some evening flying.

Glad to hear it went well. It may be a couple of weeks until I fly again. Are you going to the Chopperazzi/Night Fly on the 19th and 20th?
