4 pacs yesterday on the T-28, pretty nice day, I must be getting old, couldn't take the cold for any more flight's. Good flying though, not that happy with landings. Gusts were a challenge.

Hoping to get out this evening. My lil' Piper needs a little repair first. My 800mm T-28 is just about ready to go.

Weather is super, flew the 51, flaperons are working great. Nice easy landings. Gotta build a ramp for my incoming new wing.

The weather is great out there right now, and I have exactly one pack on the charger. Bright and sunny, warm, no clouds, very little wind, no snow, dry ground... It's JANUARY WHAT?

Looks like all the foam my hotwire cutter has burned is finally paying off in the upper atmosphere

Anywho, I have a favorite plane all set to go enjoy the nice air

Heheh... That's not snow. That's just basic frozen precipitation. Around here it has to be at least 6" deep to be 'snow'

I got about 9 minutes of excellent flying in, topped off with a wonderful greased landing. Good way to open the year, I'd say

Its a flyzone cessna 350 corvalis. It's a really nice flyer, very smooth. its quiet too.

It tried to turn into a helicopter on me today though. The motor mount screws backed out when I was flying and the motor went vertical

I'm going to call them tonight and see if they can replace it.

January T-shirt weather in SoCal. NICE. I maiden-ed the modified Super Cub. I went brushless with ailerons. Ran 2 packs through it and I can't get the grin off my face. Ran 3 packs through the P-47 with the new retracts, I think maneuvers are smoother and crisper with the wheels tucked up but the added weight is noticeable in the sink rate upon approach. I guess that means flaps and more weight?

What a great day flying!

Haha my Cessna needs more weight. It wont stop flying!
But If you want to add flaps then why not?

Great day flying my 51 and SE5. No tip overs on grass landings today. I thought something was wrong with both planes tipping, there was...Me! First time I had to set one down because of low battery, all went well.

Great day overall for a new guy. Spent the very early morning practicing tail-in hovers with my mCPX 2 and nose in hovers with my Blade 120 SR. Hit the field with my Super Cub a little later that morning to practice my landings... 50/50 when it came to tipping the nose .

I went to the field one more time later in the day but it was occupied for a little league game so I enjoyed some outdoor time with the 120 SR in a smaller field nearby. I finished the day flying the 120 SR at a friends house because his little boy always asks me to fly... mostly because he enjoys anticipating the crashes .

I'm sad there won't be much daylight left by the time I'm done with work tomorrow afternoon but I'm determined to experiment a little more with my cub if the weather cooperates. Can't wait til Summer.
