How about I just send you some parts with a cracked up hotliner fuse, as long as I get the fuse back?

You're kidding, right?

If you're not kidding, I KNOW you reinforced the wing with carbon spars, right.

I'd be interested to hear how it goes. I've flown one of mine at 610 Watts.

Its taken care of

The single servo design is long gone and i went with 2 thin wing servos

As far as carbon goes: 12" 1.5x6mm, nearly full length .210 tube, 16" 4 oz fiberglass mesh top and bottom.

Do you know how many Amps are you pulling? If you're using a 4.75 x 4.75 prop and a 1500 25C battery (3S) you'll be pulling about 28A static and about 20A in flight. I'd use a 25A ESC--that's what we use.

If you follow the 80% rule, you should use a 35 amp ESC if you're pulling 28 amp static. Just saying.

I've never heard of the 80% rule. I understand the concept of being over-cautious just in case (like running a glow engine a click or two on the rich side of maximum rpm), but with all the motors I've run in the Rifle I've found that the actual, in-flight current is about 32% less than the static current.

If, in the case of a "seed 400-size" pylon like the Rifle, the in-flight current drops, I wonder why you would go the other way and increase the ESC capability?
