You MAY cross-post ad threads to relevant forums (with limitations)

Please note that while cross-posting is technically against the rules, it is considered ok for users to cross-post an ad into multiple forums in the Classifieds area. It is therefore not normally necessary to report such posts, provided that the ads are all placed in relevant forums.

For example, an airplane that could be either glow or electric could logically be found in either place, and can therefore be cross-posted to both places.

The thinking at RCG HQ is that such threads are not causing a problem by being posted in both places.

This does not mean that we would welcome cross-posts into every single forum, or cross-posts into places they clearly don't belong. Use some common sense if you plan to cross-post so you can avoid moderator action. The moderators have been granted leeway, which they can use at their discretion. If a cross-post is reported, they are allowed to issue warning points, merge the threads, move one of the cross-posted threads to the bit bucket, or take no action.

So please only report cross-posts if they are truly causing a problem.
