I want to know what is the big deal there has been Electric RC helicopters out there for years.
If someone wanted to put a paint ball gun on one and film it would produce the same results. Why with drones is it any different?

Actually I thought the paint ball gun idea was kinda neat, even if not PC at the moment. I think people like AW overreact because, unlike the helicopters the quads are relatively easy to fly so they are becoming very common.

Things are going a little stir crazy in here!

I am one busy monkey. Work has been crazy. At home I'm working on building out the new shop. I still haven't finished the Crack Pitts. Terrible I know. Its in the build queue I swear.

New Pilot with a custom scheme in time for late summer flying.

Yes to IMAC, but I'm not exactly happy right now with some of the likely venue changes, ie no Wenatchee IMAC and polar bear is in Medford versus Cascade (snoho)

"If this is what a novice with a small budget can accomplish"

Clearly that applies to video budgets as well. Anyone see the Eagle steal the kid recently? Everyone knows that was special effects class project now right? And did anyone notice the guy on the ground shooting paint balls in this video?

In any case, I've said it before, it is only a matter of time before these things are seriously illegal, enjoy while you can.

Welcome fellow crackhead.

Make sure to check out the nice build / discussion thread Jewett started.

This link should point you to answers to many crack yak FAQ's including landing gear.

Also learn from my mistake and buy the Futaba S3114 servos to begin with. As Kody has suggested run them for aileron, elevator & rudder.

I like the landing gear because I tend to ignore my timer.

I just got the regular version with the reccomended set up. I've flown one before and it was great. It may not take abuse like a crack. But it should fly better.
