Hi everyone! Ken here, one of your hosts from last years Huckfest. Hope everyone has had a great summer. Herve just posted this on FG and wanted to let everone know about all the sponsers who have supported this years PAU Huckfest. Tons more than last year and looking forward to seeing everyone there again this year.
From Herve: I just got word from Sleepy that he will arrive in Wenatchee on Wednesday, and we will give him a nice WELCOME for his rare presence on the West Coast! Here is an updated status of the growing list of the confirmed sponsors for the event. In addition to being among the very best manufacturers in their respective product lines, these companies are generously supporting this event and the pilots. Please support them in return. The prizes will be awarded through a variety of raffles and contests. Confirmed sponsors: - Desert Aircraft (http://www.desertaircraft.com/) - Fromeco (http://www.fromeco.org/) - Handibond (http://www.handibond.com/) - Hitec (http://hitecrcd.com/) - Hobbico (http://www.hobbico.com/home.html) - Horizon (http://www.horizonhobby.com/) - PAU (http://performancercaircraft.com/) - Red Aero (http://www.redaerorc.com/index.html) - Smartfly (http://www.smart-fly.com/) - SWB (http://www.swbmfg.com/) __________________ Herve Lejeune |

Figured I would spam the board a little.
Putting up for sale my GP Extra receiver ready to get an EF MXS. The power setup is all brand new and I'll include the nice shiny new aluminum wheels and axle from Aztech...only for RC groups though http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/tag/3218966501.html |

I want the 104" Extra honestly but it's going to have to wait until tax time.
I figured I would check out the Electric Flying club in oly yesterday and there was a guy flying a 58" EF Extra. SUPER smooth rolled turf runway and a LOT of room to get low. Looks like I found a new place to frequent. I thought they were all about gliders and smaller park flyers. |

Not before I get to see the full 3d flash mob in action I hope.
It's Puget Sound Silent Flyers. http://www.pugetsoundsilentflyers.org/PSSF/Welcome.html The most bad ass thing I saw was a 90 something year old man strap his Foamy to his walker and mosey on up to the flight line, hand launch and fly that thing like he was in WWII. |

There will be plenty of good days to make up for it, looking forward to seeing your Edge in action. My Aeroworks is a little tail heavy with the beefy alum tail wheel assm and double elevator servos. I put a hole in the firewall so I could slide the battery right behind the motor so I would'nt have to add nose weight. |

11.25# RTF
Hacker A60-6XS w/21x10 Xoar CC Phoenix 125 ESC (Old Style) Savox 1258TG servos 6S 5300 GenAce. Not sure how the weight stacks up against similar (?) I suspect it's somewhat on the heavy side. Excellent vertical and does nice, flat spins. Pulls to the belly on hard rudder knife edge but I think moving the battery forward a little more might resolve that. |

I did temporarily relent on my aversion to CC ICE products by putting an ICE 100 Lite (NIB) in my Ultra Fun Jet. The picture shows the results of the 15 second first trial run on the bench with the ECS on top of the fuse in the prop stream. After replacing it with a Phoenix 125 it pulls 90A on 5S with no issues. I'm not going to bother to send it in for a replacement.
