And now Spektrum has telemetry on the DX8, so modelmatch and telemetry +2, and also any function/any switch. +1 We Spektrum guys use latest technology.

Another data point comes from IRCHA 2010 (the worlds lagest RC event).

Out of the 1,000 heli pilots attending this years event (26 pilot stations flying close to 24/7) .. there were NO reported 2.4 ghz issues.

But like Chevy vs Ford Or HD vs any other MC mfg....
data above won't stop brand bashing or over blown brand hype.

And thats why I fly Fasst after having been on Spektrum for a couple years.

I like to keep my planes in one piece since I like what I fly.

I watched Vitter crash 1 plane into another one during set-up a on his Futaba system few months ago because of "human error," while I have lost none, nor have I seen anyone I fly with loose any on Spektrum.

Vitter and I disagree on the definition of "crash." He thinks it needs to be flying in the air to be considered a "crash," while I say if his plane launches into another on the ground, that is also considered a "crash."

So if my addition is correct..... Futaba = 1 damaged/crashed plane and Spektrum = 0.

My personal experience, which has been very little, is the same as Flopgun when it comes to planes being damaged by Futaba vs Spektrum.
Gabe has the details all wrong on what happened but I will say I have only lost one plane due to radio failures and it was caused by Spektrum DSM (Dead Signal Misshapes)

So the true count is Futaba = 0 and Spektrum = 1 for radio failures.

Vitter, do you think it was radio failure or maybe brown out from overloaded BEC?

-- or --- I got hit uh huh, sure....

whatcha guys think about this lovely bit of kit

Aeroworks Extra 300LP 50cc with a DLE 55.
Hitec 7985's and a 7955TG on the rudder.

Local flying bud is wanting it to find a new home so he can buy a comp-arf kit.

Ha ha ha, and the colors are about right.

We know what the nickname for that one will be.

I am going to get out to Marymoor at around 3:30. Cry, you will have the MX ready?
