Down at marc right now. The conditions are perfect, there is a slight wind starting up but nothing to serious.

I'm planning on the same. It's pretty breezy here on the Plateau currently.

Jholen, I think your hat cam is a good idea, epecially when you are flying alone and need to capture some video.
I was thinking of doing the same thing, but on top of an old bike helmet or something.
I think we're all going to converge on MARC in the afternoon today.

Yeah, only thing is - it can be quite distracting.

Flop, as always, thanks for coming out to cascade.
Loved the way the field was empty the whole day!

Good to see the fella's out at Marc for the nightcap!

Ok, after flying the DW foamies a few times today, I've found my motivation to finish one of mine asap!

too fun

back tomorrow to Cascade for an all day flying session again with the Raven.
For those of you hitting marymoor, have a good day of flying!

I can picture you chris down at the field with your socks and sandels shorts and a bike helmet with a camera strapped to the top

Yes congratulations Daniel!

Daniel had limited time to prepare for this event. Given more time and another year of refinement, he will win it next year.

Weekend Flying Review at MARC

Well guys it was good to see most of you at some time over the weekend at MARC.

Friday was the windiest afternoon (almost unflyable), Saturday alittle less, and Sunday afternoon was perfect!

I added 1oz of lead to the nose of the 30cc Slipstream Sunday, and it really helped grease the landings.

The family came out with me on the late Sunday afternoon, and here are a couple of pics the wife took.
