Well. My first post here.

Flopgun, albeit that your skillz are second to none -

You can't hear anyone when you are listening to your headphones. I can hear the beats from 200' away. From your headphones.

Imma gonna do that too. Good stuff. See you at Marymoor

I heard one person likes me, so I'll send $40 to Marymoor.

I really do wring out my planes. I went through a lot of part iterations to get the cry >jholen > my Velox G1 to 90mph with the original motor. I am surprised there is no flutter. I should provide some entertainment.

Good to hear Dave! I can't wait to see you there.
The grass at 60 Acres is just too long right now, I'm going to fly at
Marymoor Sunday evening after work.
Robert ripped off his prop on the P-61 due to the rough ground.
I'm still optimistic for the late May fly-in, hopefully we'll have better weather and better mowing by then.

Ah so eagle owns that velox..
well it had one previous owner

so it goes like this

Stevelmaa,cryhavoc38/jholen/eagle777

I never flew it, jholen flew it twice and I'm not sure how many flights steve got on it.

Let us know who you pass it on to and this can become the official seattle area "pass the dutchie" plane

A plane that is modded and sold by MaximumDave may not be suitable for some. Results may vary. I am helpful sometimes.

Edit:
This is a high energy plane, and you guys did not tap into the magic.

You brought two too many.

The nickname for that plane is "the slut". Everyone's had her. She was Jholen's first.

So what's the story today, marymoor or 60 acres or both?

She was, and then I kicked her to the curb!

Marymoor! Grass too tall at 60A. I went yesterday to Marymoor later in the afternoon and practically had the field to myself. Kicked it w/ Azhar for a little while and got in some flights. Don't think it will be that empty today though. A shame about the grass at 60A. I prefer to leave the field with my landing gear intact.

Yeah, it was pretty rough yesterday.

All they really needed was just one decent landing strip that was mowed... wouldn't even have to be the whole field.

Cascade Family field for me, and then if there is time after, I'll come out to marymoor to try out this 3W 106iB2 engine in the lumberworks.

When it became Dave's turn on the Velox, he opened her up and stressed the motor box!

Someone before me strengthened her motor box and the important parts of her fuse. Crazy tight - my pack barely fits. She does like 4S, and can take it like a trooper. She had a penchant for Coronas, but they made everything worse. I had to persuade her with diamonds of HiTec.

You guys kicked her to the corner without a second thought. I'll show some expertise and make her happy.

It will end badly. It always does.

Few pics from 60 Acres Fly-in Today and MARC

We were early on today at 60 Acres, but the grass was just too long for anything that is not a foamy belly lander or 50cc size.... so late in the afternoon many of us went over to MARC only to find Eric flying all by himself in perfect conditions.

Chris, Robert, Victor, John (Flop), Joe, Robert 3, Dave (our newest addition to our MARC flight group ) .....

I think Flop is right... this is going to be a great flight season!
