Training to be a cage fighter.

Alright, I just received my Scorpion 3026 710kv motor tonight...
I've installed it and tested it with my XOAR 15x6E prop and here's what I've found:

Timing is set to LOW, this motor doesn't lose sync and squeal with sudden throttle changes.
With my E-Flite motor, I had to set my timing all the way to HIGH to prevent
the loss of timing.
The Scorpion 3026 710kv motor is only drawing 52 amps and 780 watts with my 15x6!
My E-Flite Power 32 770kv motor drew 68 amps with the same prop!
This is my first Scorpion motor, and I am very impressed so far.
I'll have to put it through its paces in the air and see how it holds up.
I tested this motor with a Turnigy nano-tech 3300mah 4 cell 35-70c battery with a full charge.

If you want, and are willing, I'll drop off an Infinte 3025-770 and you can test it out/compare it to your Scorp

Also, the Eflite, being approx 60kv higher than the Scorp is going to draw more amps..of course you know this.

The Garmin watch may have more capability but there are some less expensive GPS logger options too, some of the sailplane guys are using these:

I switched from Contour to Gopro last year because the image quality seemed to be noticeably better. That and my the Contour ended up in the middle of Lake Sammamish.

oh Contour is based in Seattle.
That gives me an idea...
