Thanks for that link. It does look nice, and the translation is a hoot too!

It's a pity it doesn't have flaps...

I got a reply from Martin Bilek after making an enquiry from that website. He gave me another email address, and there the trail has gone cold....(as do most enquiries to E European locations).

Sent an email also. Got a nice reply and that he does not speak English and the plans are on the bottom of the web page in file format. No kits available.
May just have to use the plotter at work to print these up.

In the german rc-network forum there is a discussion about the Inspira and how to design a similar plane with better performance.
http://www.rc-network.de/forum/showthread.php?t=185081 with more pictures.

Thanks for that info, guys!

I still have had no reply from Zdenek.

Without any cut parts, I'm really not sure if I'm up to manual rib-cutting, etc...

Will look at the rc-network thread with interest!

Inspira kits?

Wow, it's hard work ploughing though the RC-network thread with Yahoo Babelfish . Not too sure what's going on there..

Does it look like someone may be offering laser-cut kit parts at some stage, or what?

the rc-network Inspria will get a new wing (flaps, shape, airfoils) but they will try to keep the original "look". Especially the wing will be state-of-the-art. For the new inspira they think about short-kits and rip-sets. Interesting project anyway!

It's beautiful... but then, being a woody guy, I would think so...

Thanks Bernd, that's very good news! Those kind of changes seem like a good idea too!

Well, your'e semi-woody now! It has got nice lines to it, doesn't it? I have a soft spot for beeg planes, hence my particular interest, plus I'm keen do to some balsa bashing again..

Short kit and rip sets would be nice. Its an awful lot of wood to go chewing up.

Bernd, great information, thanks. This would be a great plane brought up to date, but keeping it in the woody build of things.

cvanscho, Thanks for asking the questions. This would be a great group build.
