Your Long Range FPV Heli Dream Set Up ?
hey men, i have a trex 500 with a helicommand stabilizer i am doing FPV with, I am currently running 900 MHZ .5 watt video with a oracle diversity with an omni directional antenna and a patch antenna. I run a stock trex with the 72 MHZ radio control frequency.
I wish to be able to fly as low as possible up to 1 mile away and NOT loose video or radio control.
I am considering the following:
1. I was considering the DRAGON long range UHF system with my Futaba Radio. (I had the other one from Tomas but It glitched when my radio was close to the heli and was too dangerous for helis i think)
2. I am considering Eagle Tree OSD Pro Or Range Video OSD (not sure yet)
3. And im not sure what to do with the Video system. I was considering antenna tracking but im not sure how needed it is. I always fly in front of it.
Any advice anyone can give me on this set up and my goals would be great thanks!
