hey guys! i wanted to ask if the HS-65MG will be enough fro my EF-2000 elevons? I see some using this or 82mG. Since i have them, why not use it right?
i have also purchased the Turnigy 9018MG 2.5kg/13g/0.10 ($4.60) for the TV and canards, i see a lot of good reviews on this little monster servo and it surpasses the corona's as per the reviews.
Any comments SU-4ever/V8truckin?

thanks!

Flew mine with HXT-900s so the HS65mg would be no problem. Another really good value servo is the hextronics DMG16 (from hobby king) a little bit bigger but very strong

Hs82mg lil heavier, but more torque than the 65mg, but hs65mg is a tad faster. Some prefer 1vs the other. I've got hs-82mg installed in my elevons and they drop right in. They've survived 2 airframe crashes and are still being used in my current euro. Also I'm using TP90mg servos for the nose steering and canards. Great cheap mg servos you can get in anywhere. I don't see why you couldn't use th hs65mg. Keep in mind mg servos ain't needed for canards.

Great guys! i will transplant my hs65mg from my funjet ultra and use 1 HK mg for steering then. The rest will be kept stock.
Do you recommend me installing an external BEC? i see few of the guys run CC 10amp BEC, though i never heard of anyone complaining regarding the stock electronics unless of course i decide to upgrade my motor.
The excitement is driving me insane for this bird...
Have a nice weekend guys!

rusty_y2k2 here in this thread and on his own thread posted this when he first tried it. Look back at some of the pic in this thread and you can see all the details on how he put it together.

Hey guys, major problem, PLEASE HELP!!! I was setting up everything and noticed that the aileron wasn't moving properly. Got looking at it and one of the hinges is broke, right where it actuates. I was able to work it out quit easily with a pair of needle nose pliers but there is no hope for it, it is broke. Where can I get a stock hinge from? anyone got a spare? I'm bummed out Please Help!

Hi Torchy!

On my first eurofighter I used a Hitec servo, can't remember if it was HS-65 or HS-85.

Either way it was too much weight and the arm broke on the crash so I changed it for a 16gr HD power servo sold at hobbyking.

Thank you. This sucks. I will pay for it, no problem. Just can't believe my luck sometimes, but at least I spotted it before I put her in the air.
