Waddell/Davenport needs WNW - NNW, FYI Saturday looks good. Sunset Beach need SW - WSW. I don't know of any places that work for straight S

Del VAlle has a couple south facing slopes if you're into inland style flying.Best to wait for solid 15 - 20 mph days though...

If you don't mind a bit of a hike (not a long hike but a steep one), this site might work really well in a South blow. I haven't flown there yet, or scoped out the LZ, but I was blown away by how high this face is, and there's even a DS bowl just south of the hill I've linked to (you will need Google Earth to view this file.) The topography in Google Earth is just flat wrong for this location. But the ridge is there. Peace

Sibley in the East Bay Regional Parks(East Bay hills) works great in South winds, it's a bit of a hike, and you had better have postage stamp landing skills as well.
