Switchback Sport on floats video - OR - Water? We don't need no Steeeenking Water
OR... That's the greenest lake I've ever seen!
OR... Come see the switchback do grass-and-goes Well, you get the idea Hi gang, The video is being compiled so here are a few pictures of today's fun. This is the switchback sport RG on my C-180 floats (the same set I've flown on it before) but at a different flying location. Sorry for the fuzzy shot, but they do get better. |

The video is up! You can get it here. It's about 8 mb in wmv format. Thanks again, www.westhillsweb.com for reliable webspace.
My setup is the 010 as usual. It's the 14T geared 4.43:1 swinging a 10x8 prop. This time I flew her with a 3s 700 etec pack. Duration was about 28 minutes of the kind of flying you see in the video - touch and goes, some aerobatics, some monkeying around, etc. I'm totally thrilled with that! The power is nearly 1:1 at the front of the pack, so it'll be easily 1:1 when I lose the 1.5 oz worth of floats and attachments. Enjoy! Martin |

Hi Martin, great video! As usual. I like your idea of the floats on grass. Might have to try that myself. The grass around here is more like velcro when landing on it with wheels. I just mounted a bigger set of wheels and if that doesn't work... next'll be floats.

Martin,
That's really a head twister! Was that grass wet? Nice work all around!! The BL sure does allow for neat flying!! Roger |

Thats pretty awesome, nice work! One question, how was it "flown, filmed" at the same time by one person? That boggles my mind
