Battery Check Before Lift-off........

How do you know the status of your batteries before you fly?

I charge with a Dymond ST the night before, than again just before take off. I get good air time but I do knot know how much juice is in the it at peak?..........or is it only 3/4 full? there a gadget I can use? How ya'll doing it?

Well, Fred, that's why better chargers have a you can see how much charge goes into your pack the night before (compared to normal), then when you top it off just feel the pack to see that it's warm before you fly it.

Al......I do it that way, just thought that there was a gadget to plug into that I could read Amps and Volts to get a real time reading. I use a digital Volt-meter but do not have a Amp guage that will read our amp usage.

It you peak before you fly, they're fully charged.

Exactly, that's why they're called "peak chargers."
