The motor that rctimer has is the only other motor I can find that has the same stats. Not good!!!!!

I like the 1700KV so I can use the same prop as the Assassin and Widowmaker.

We need your help. Please post any motor you have used that has worked well.

Lee,

I don't have the GR but this is what I am flying on my Titan http://www.graysonhobby.com/catalog/...tor-p-585.html
I am using 2200 mAh 3S batteries and a 6X4 prop so it is a little more prop noise. You could do the same thing with this motor and use a 2 cell battery and a 7X5 or 7X6 prop if you wanted the slower turning prop.

I used this motor http://www.graysonhobby.com/catalog/...jet-p-765.html on my Widow Maker with 1300 mAh 2S battery and using a 7X5 APC prop. Only problem is it doesn't give me much protection for the battery since a 2S had to be moved closer to the front to balance.

I use this on my 29 oz. Polaris seaplane on 3s 1800mAh. Great motor, strong and dependable.... double check solders on bullet connectors before install.

Verticle no prob. but, its my impression that it will not handle a 7x6 prop. 6x5.5 is the highest grayson recommends. (its a generic copy of the suppo 2212-6 i think)

Your right about it being a 2212-6 but it will spin a 7X5 or 7X6 on a 2 cell without a problem. So if your are wanting to built and fly light a 2 cell will help on the all up weight.

Motors

We already ordered motors from RC Timer, but for $4.00, OK $5.00 we will buy some more just to have around. Go ahead and get 100 of 'em and test them out for us.

Lee,

Your response shows a bit of excitement. That is the one we ordered. I see the C-clip groove on the end of the shaft so assume that we can drive the shaft through the motor. We'll find out.

The Turnigy 3530 1700 said it had -4 now it says 0. I wonder if some came in?

I'm ordering 4 of the motors from RCTimer and some replacement 4 mm E clips which I lost one of today.
