With a 4A BEC built in will I need a separate? I would be running this with the 35/36 1400W 550 Turnigy motor. Going to also pick up the BMS 620MG servo's. That should get me off to a good start....

Thanks,

Paul
It all depends on the prop you put on it. Check it with an amp gauge but you should be OK.

Has anyone tried these? They seem to be very light for the mah rating.

Link not working but always look at both the mAh and the C rating.

If you live in the USA get batteries from the HK USA warehouse to save time and shipping.

That's weird. They were there yesterday and now they are gone. Not just backordered but gone. Anyway it was a 4000 mah Zippy Compact 25C. Very lightweight at 269 grams (or maybe 289) As it turns out... doesn't matter, they're gone.

I read that for the wings you don't need a high C rating so much. On the heli's I have I run a higher C rating. Is this not true? Should I get higher C rated packs?

Thanks,

Paul

This is true especially if you plan on running two in parallel. My 450 heli on 2200 30c puts out 66a, (2.2x 30) say 2x 4000mah is 8000mah total at 15c 8x15=120. I think this math is correct. I know the two 8000mah 30c packs in parallel can put out 480a which I will never fully use on my wing
