Giant P-40 EPO 1400 mm

http://www.ready2fly.ch/shop/USER_AR...ID=419#Ziel419

I believe another FMS product. If it's just as nice as my FMS P-51, I'll be getting this one too!

* Span: 1400mm
* Lenght: 1198mm
* Weight: 1750g
* Engine: Brushless Motor
* 50A Brushless ESC
* Mechanical(?) retracts (incl doors and rotating(!) main gear)
* steerable tail wheel (not retractable)
* 7 Servos
* Battery: 14.8V 4S 2200mAh 20C Li-Po

No flaps, but by the looks of the pictures, the flaps are already pre slotted and there are cut outs in the wings for the servo's.

Nop, the version of the Mustang I have, v3, has retractable LG. I think the v3 version is only sold in Europe and Asia.

Now this might be a plane I can get my Son hooked on as he like the P40s! I am trying to get him involved in RC along with ol Dad!

Dave

It would also look good along side the P-51 !

Looks great. I just hope we aren't forced to buy it thru banana hobbies like the retract version of the p-51. Otherwise it will just be another plane I want but won't buy because of BH.

What you got more???

BTW the other one will be given within a week so I should be able to give you a report.

Funny I was thinking the same thing about what I needed to sell to afford the new B-25 from HL and the Stuka from hyperion!

Alan

Why Banana? you can get it from http://aerialhobby.com/ and maybe even NitroPlanes now.

My workshop is getting crowded
Although I prefer balsa, one very great advantage with foam is that you can store them in a hot/cold/freezing attic without risking warped fuse/wings and sagging covering.
