I believe that is what "receiver ready" means. It's ready for a receiver.
Has everything but receiver.

Yes. it requires only the addition of a suitable 3+ channel transmitter and matching receiver to complete.

Why didn't they run? A pass???

makes perfect sense, Receiver ready.
Meaning it needs a receiver, ie your favorite receiver.

It would already be assumed that if it needs a receiver, then you add your receiver and use your TX that works with said receiver.

Plug and Play means install your receiver.

Now ARF is a completely wrong naming convention.

Almost ready to fly? Almost as in 5-50 hours of work? lol
I've got arfs in the box that are no where near "almost ready to fly"

How about ARTBFASAYAAIYE

"Almost ready to be flown as soon as you assemble and install your electronics"

If by "they", you mean Horizon Hobby, then yes, "they" usually call it Plug and Play. Horizon actually has a trade mark on the phrase in relation to models. The rest of the world calls it receiver ready, or RxR, which makes this totally normal, and certainly not at all stupid.

Well I don't know who owns the trade mark on a phrase since a huge company like HK refers to it as Plug-n-Fly.

I'm not so certain how much HK pays attention to Registered Trade Marks! Except oddly enough for the Deans copy right!

We call ourselves with the words like "parkflyer" or "rc pilot". We suppose to fly and learn the flight techniques not playing techniques.

I couldn't find that much info but bunch of videos on youtube. Because it is so tempting price, I ordered one. I guess we would have to wait until I get it and unveil the electric parts details.
