I would also like it. It's a nice feature for FBL (all my 3 T-Rex are FBL). Thanks to the telemetry I found a problem with my BEC on my T-Rex 550 (and saved it from crashing ) |

Thanks Philapa.....Tried a second time and scrolled down to Radian Pro and Sailplane setups. Will experiment with the Radian Pro program using my DX8 and my Art Tech ASK-21 motor glider. The DX7 program with Automatic Landing is what I hope to duplicate.

Anyway, Is the telemetry unit able to be updated as a rcvr, like a second satellite? If not, possibly adding that into a future model of the unit. Just a thought. |

DX7 Automatic Landing FeatureQuote:
From page 58 of DX7 manual: Automatic Landing When the Automatic Landing Function is active, the throttle stick will activate the landing system you have just set up. Any point of throttle stick travel can be set as the “auto-land” point. Once the throttle stick passes through this point and the LAND switch is in the MID, or land position, the landing system will be activated. Thus, the elevator and flaps would be activated. If the flap mixing switch is not in the LAND position, the throttle stick operation would have no effect on the landing system. |

Yes, that was deliberately eliminated.
If you are near stall speed with the flaps down, advancing the throttle increases power (but not airspeed right away) and raises the flaps (thus increasing stall speed immediately). You may now be below the new, higher stall speed at low altitude. You are better off controlling flaps and throttle independently. Andy |

set up files currupted or not supported for dx8
I registered my DX8 this afternoon and downloaded setups for the Radian pro. When I try to open them with Adobe I get a message saying the files may be corrupt or that the files are not supported. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi,
From the beginning for all my flights, i begin in flight log with A and L to 45. Is it normal ? 0 would be more logic isn't it ? And another think: i understand Spektrum want to minus the lipo's voltage for securities reasons, but it will be great if we can calibrate the data to have the true value. Spektrum can add a warning's message before we can access to this menu. It will be secure and we will access, if we want at the real value, without adding 0.3V for example. For me it will be more confortable. |

FURIEN, PM me if you're interested in changing the display for the RX voltage to show full battery even at 6.0v or any voltage for that matter. |

Here is one that I hope Andy can chime in on. On another forum, someone was having the same issues as I with a 6100. Loss of signal, flashing led's. He tried 4 different 6100's, all to the same effect. He said he also went over all the wiring of this particular heli and found nothing. Someone at his flying field was observing and asked him to try HOLDING the bind button during the entire binding process. He did, and said he has not had any issues since. I have read this entire thread and remember a conversation about this but can't remember the details. I'm quite sure that it had something to do with telemetry, and not binding the receiver properly. I only hold the button until the binding procedure is initiated, then I release the button and the binding continues for a few seconds until done. I have done it this way with a 6110e,(no problems), two umbnf's,(no problems), and a 6100-v1.6(problems). Am I binding incorrectly? Will my problems go away if I hold the button? Why do the other rx's perform properly? Thanks...
Jay. |
