Full throttle and supersonic!

I'm curious how these Airfield jets fly stock (without the extra droptanks, etc.). I would use my own RX, TX, battery and charger. I'm liking this one and the new F-15.

Anyone know the specs on the stock fan? I'm trying to figure out if I could fit this motor into it: http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...800kv_for_64mm

Has anyone flown the RTF version with the stock Tx/Rx/ESC? I just picked one of the aniversary editions and would like input before flying her. I read a lot of the Nitroplanes threads and did not get good feelings about the quality of the stock electronics.

Do I need to replace just the Rx or the ESC too?

Mine is a RTF version (anniversary edition). I used my own radio and receiver because the stock radio has no expo...very stable plane, has enough power compared to my f-35.

20+ flights, still no problem with stock electronics and motor. But my impeller broke 2x already...I hope on my 3rd it will last longer...

Thanks Zeke. I picked up a Rx and ESC today. I'll just put in the new Rx to work with my Tx and hope the stock esc holds up. If not, I have a spare.

OK, by mistake I posted this video on the other thread cause it saids Max Jet and I thought the jet on the video was a max Jet BUT NO, is a Airfield brand..What a confusion but anyways. I got this video of the F-18 Airfield at the flying field and see what happened. It belongs to a friend of mine by the way..enjoy..

Hey guys, I just got an Airfield F-18 (Blue Angels) today. It went together quick and easy and I hope to maiden this weekend. I'm belly landing her, and pulled out the landing gear and front servo, and left off the missiles and tanks. It's all up weight is 24 oz. with battery, and I've got a couple of 2250mah 3s to try out (25c and 45c).
