Steve, pitching in for anything needed is fine by me and I'm guessing Matin. You're putting on a great show and I'm sure it's not cheap OR easy

Jordan, I sent you an email. We'll work something out and can always get you to Mt. Borah in a rental if needed. I wonder if we can use your pass so it's not wasted? Sounds like you could use it any time so probably not a worry.

Yikes Matin and I have been burning the oil. I'm really going to need all the offers of tools and equipment once we arrive to get some of the stuff I'm bringing in good flying order. Bailing wire and duct tape should do'er

Slope New Zealand DVD

I am bringing over quite a few copies of Slope New Zealand that will for sale during the fest.
Slope New Zealand (1 min 54 sec)

This DVD was produced during a tour of New Zealand in the South island and a small part of the North Island in 2008, it gives you an insight into the types of terain that you can fly in.

The intro clip is very very very poor quality as it had to be extremely compressed to run on the net. but it gives you the idea.

The cost of the DVD's have been kept low for the fest to a low $10 ea

Cheers
Dave.

Just had a chuck with the Zagi of the bank of the dam needed a bit trimming and away she went she flies good enough to get me in the air where there is some lift for fine tuning.
Just a bit of advice for those coming bring some protection against Mozzies!!! they are pretty bad now after all the rain we had and getting worse at the moment they are only little but as it warms up the big buggers will be out to suck your blood.( And I don"t want to catch anything off you people lol)

Heh, probably one of the few I already knew

I get welts from mozzies and the US versions love the taste of me! Hopefully the Oz versions will hate me. May have to pick up something once I'm there. That may be a good excuse to smoke a few cigars while I'm down there.

Owen,

If you are using polyester as a splooge filler, it helps to add something called: "Wax In Styrene" (as well as the Q cells), which makes it easier to sand. Add at about the same rate as the catalyst. (about 2%).

One of our local proffessional fabricators put me onto this. I used it on the last plug I made.
