Ok short list program times and days will be set out but plenty of time to improve add to or invent something new .All rules for events are simple with no white hat thinking involved
1. Last man standing Combat
2. The Outlanding comp.
3. The PSS comp (to ISR rules)
4. A foamie Limbo event
5. The Office works or Bunnings challenge (due to the cost I think a budget of $25 is more suited for materials from these stores)
6. Night flying event (possible Red Bull pylon style racing to be confirmed with Godfrey ,it was his idea )
7. And electric aerotow of the flat if the slopes not on ?

Hi Steve and fellow Slope'ies !

It will be a pleasure to have you all at Mt Borah again this coming Sept for the 2nd Manilla Slope fest. Looks like the event is shaping up well already with Steve's guidance.

Don't forget that you are all welcome at any time fly from Mt Borah and test the air.

Might be cool to run a t-shirt design comp over the next few months...no prizes, just the glory of having your design on everyones backs. Will also make it easier then to collect orders 3-4 wks before hand to have them ready here for the event and save postage.

The new airsports facility building at my place will be well and truely completed and operational by then too so you can run briefings, meetings, workshops and general drinking and coffee sessions in comfort.

cheers

What about all the materials have to be gathered locally (Manilla) to double the local economy , and material gathering and building have to be done in one day and flown the next.

Hey Steve,
Saw this on the Windsock website. Maybe they can help with a design for the T-shirts.

hi steve,
workshops seems to be a interesting concept.
maybe thow out the bone and see if there is any interest
some topics maybe.
moulding, bagging, wing cutting, anything that promotes more of us building rather than buying
i for one get a little tired of seeing the same designs done to death
any way, thats my 2 cents worth
