Gorgeous aircraft and video.

I recently got a GoPRO HD and am pondering how to attach to wing for those great "tip to tip" shots.

Wondering if you would you post a pic of your mount or description?

Some pics of my mount-
You have to counterbalance the other wing with the same weight.

Hi JeanClaude.

Nice video.

because sailplanes are so sensitive to balance and the GoPro camera presents a profile (all be it sideways and minimized) how were you able to
get safe and controlled flight ?

In other words the drag of the go pro would be similar to one spoiler blade stuck up and i would be concerned about the model control.

thanks in advance, john s.

Hello John:

My english is bad but I'll try to explain
I have no problem flying with the camera in the wingtip, the flight is completely normal, just I put a counterweight to the same weight of the camera, maybe one or two trim aleron points. You can watch other videos of my models here, the videos are made with the flycameone

Thank you for the pics of the mount Jean Claude.

I had the same concern as Jswain and am glad to hear it is largely not a problem.

Now down to my man cave to begin the creation!

nice, I have the hero wide and its ok, but bulky,I plan to get the Vholdr HD soon, itll be a bit easier to keep it aerodynamic then the box of the heros. We found a neat cam on ebay called the Key Chain SPy Cam, its cheap and pending no shaking its great,, and its the size of a cars keyless entry. and only needs 3 coins to counter balance. should be fun on gliders.
