We have sunny weather this morning, so that's a nice surprise. The wind is as expected, a bit more than optimal. Achim is expected to bring the breakfast in about 30 minutes, and we'll see what we can do then.
I have been talking to several of the pilots yesterday and it appears I'll have to explain again that they are expected to get around the turn points THEMSELVES too, not only the gliders, a fact they do not seem very comfortable with. It means a way of being physically involved that is not familiar in R/C flight, it appears :0).

I is cold here. As I was boarding the last flight in to Bremen the sportube was laying next to the plane, comforting for sure. I did a little flying yesterday and managed to loose a control horn on my elevator for a quick trip back to earth. Nothing that a little CA didn't fix. This morning I was up with the birds (we are camping on the field) and the wind was already cranking. Lift was good but it was a gut check to grab a 3 and get back to the field. Oleg and I did a bunch of all up with a full field. After lunch the rain came so it is back to the hanger to test the beer truck.

Well Swedes, Americans, Slovenians, Russians, Italians, Dutch and some germans are here now. Small rain passed and temporarly stopped tthe flying. Weather is good with wind, huge thermals and dito sink areas. No passive flying works for any longer fllights.

Beer wagon is up serving beer, wifi works like a charm. Right Bruce! A are positive and happy. Tomorrow it begins...but before that a dinner with friends.

We had about an hour of rain and then conditions got nice. We have a slight breeze with thermals popping all over at 6:00. I flew all 3 models and even the heavy one (13oz) was getting out. The field is quite large but way to much traffic so I put them away for the night. Pilots meeting will come early so we must get the party started early:-) Hoping for a warmer night!
