My Favorite Tiger Moth Pics.

Yes I know, here comes some more Tiger Moth Pics!
Well, I like these because, first, my 11 year old son took them and
second, he did a great job!

Hope you enjoy them too.

Me Likes! me likes! Those are realy pretty dude, and before I got to the last comment, I thought I'd mention that they look like they are real, too! I think those flying wires really helped out your moth, huh? It looks much better with them, especially in those pics...and it is only a line of string...

areoP; yeah, the wires are great looking and needed too. The first time I tried a loop with out them the left side of both wings sheared off! And they are real wires too.

Who Says Penguins Can't Fly?

yeah, I know.....you know what is killing me here? I think that EVERYBODY who has ever tried to loop without reinforcements has folded their wings. This plane is designed for that!
And you know, this very well might be......
We got an expensive VCR a long time ago, and we were happy with the 2 year warranty it came with....in a long, long time, it broke. Got out the insurance, and guess what? It was 2 years and 1 day since we bought the unit!!! It was planeed like that, and the company spent millions of dollars on designing it to accidentally" break 1 day after the warranty passed. All this money comes back when the buyer comes back for expensive repairs.....
Ex2, our entire heating system, broke for the first time (actually, not broke, but just a small wire problem, quickly fixed), so anyway, the repair guy told us that actually, this company made these heaters a long time ago, VERY well, and they never, never, broke. So, everybody who wanted a heater who lived in the area, got one, and after that, they had less and less business, etc, and then, they went out of business! Only because their products never broke!

Both are true stories, from my house. Cool, huh?

Great Pics John

compliments go out to your camera man, he's got a good eye for the lens

AP i have two moths one has all the mods for the wing and weighs in at 10 oz (a bit heavy but there was also one fuse repair)

the second one is total stock build and no flying wires probably has well over 200 loops and some half way barrel rolls. As well as lots of inverted flight.

not broken wings yet......it all in the throttle control and in the ability to control "G' stressing.

admittedly though the first one's wing ripped in a full speed steep dive when i tried to pull out (then i did all the wing reinforcing mods and killed it with weight)

so the wires aren't really needed but........if your not careful and push beyond the flight envelope too hard..........CRACK!!
