picture of my new sport plane


Here are some photos of my latest design which is a modification of an earlier sucessful model. Some specifics: 560sq. in with 60" span. Astro 15 on 12 or 14 ultra metal 3000. weight 78 oz.wingloading approx 20 oz psi.

Excellent workmanship Joel, You have powered it adequately so it should fly as good as it looks. Let us all know how it fares.

In regards to plans. I cheat. I have a laser so the plans are actually cad files. This plane has not yet flown. Here is a photo of my laser.

What a magnificent shop! Not to mention the plane. Are you planning on coming to SEFF with that beautiful plane. We'd love to see it fly.

I noticed the aileron servos are on the bottom of the fuse. What was your reason for designing it like that?

I just build a cnc router. Do you have any leads for a laser source, thinking I could upgrade my system if the cost is reasonable.
