As to litho plate if the aircraft is sheet in 1/16th balsa first and the annealed litho which I used on an Avro Anson then its does not get a chance to be brittle as it got a solid backing annealing the sheet was as simple as running a few black felt marker lines across the sheet then heat with a touch till they vanish then you can virtually tie it in knots.

I am liking it already, the beauty is you can have scale panels and use small peices, I guess I wont worry about weight to much with a PSS ship

A guy named Eric Durn built a very large Connie, it used four Saito 140 four stroke engines.

No not yet. It is going to be a big project, I have a few other projects on the fire right now so the Conny will have to wait

Just ran across this....little late for the party, but oh well...lol

My last flight out of Alaska in 1958 was on a Connie.....thought those wings would keep going up forever. Nice ride though....
