Although I'm sure it would fly OK on an EF-1 setup, I don't think it would be competitive as it's significantly over-sized and according to the specs, way overweight.

I haven't seen much talk in this thread about the EF1 at the Q25 races to be held November 14, 2010 at the new south Thunderbird Field at Lake Benbrook.

I wonder whether the weight is more with a Glo engine Dave? Whatever Hangar 9 are to be applauded for trying to produce another choice.

A glow engine+tank+fuel is almost always a lot lighter than an electric motor+ESC+battery pack.
