Tom,
what kind of gear are on the Slick? carbon fiber like most 3DHS planes?
Bummer bout the hard landing...there goes another prop!
Maybe we should combine for a bulk prop order from VVRC?

Rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated. (Mark Twain)

What's up fellas? I've been very busy, still. Looking forward to a week in Miami with my wife. I hope to do some flying in a month or so.

Shout out to all my brothers!

Congrats Chris and family! You might as well start selling your planes now! (I've got 5 kids, ask me how I know)

Baby and mother doing well, we hope?

Everything is good. Momma is glowing and baby Gracie is all pink and perfect. My son (14) and my other daughter (12) are enjoying their new baby sister.

Hi Plow

the turnigy nano tech batteries I bought from Wayne's buddy code puffed after one flight They are out in my garage looking all puffy. The one I haven't flown is still looking good. The regular Turnigy batteries I got are fine as well but they have a higher C rating. Either way I know I didn't pull enough amps from them to cause this and I didn't over-discharge them.

Just kinda bummed.

Kerwin/Mike,

Yeah, unfortunately that was on the slick....I just put a hairline split in the carbon fiber gear so i pretty much need to replace it or it will just get worse. We had some nasty crosswinds yesterday and I just made a crappy landing on the last flight of the day....always happens that way, hehe

The plane is phenomenal though and I am spoiled by it, because I don't feel like flying anything else now, lololol

Mike, we may need to put in a bulk order for the props, hehehe

We have a guy in our club does the same thing, vertical until it runs out and dead sticks to his feet, it every flight with his old plane, the new ones not so much.
